My passion for hair—especially the natural beauty that grows from our scalps—has been a lifelong journey, and I’m here to help you embrace your hair’s full potential, no matter your texture.

Having spent my entire life braiding hair, I started at the age of 12, learning from a family friend. Growing up as the only daughter among six brothers, I quickly became the go-to person for braids, even though my mom didn’t know how to braid herself. But she made sure I learned a skill that would last me a lifetime, something that would be my “fishing rod”—braiding.

After high school, I took a detour, majoring in Business Administration in college, but life had other plans. A turning point came when I was unexpectedly fired from my job, which, in hindsight, was the best thing that could’ve happened. It pushed me to reflect on my true calling, leading me back to my roots and, ultimately, to pursue a career in hair.

As I embarked on my journey to embrace my natural texture, I made the decision to do a big chop after years of relaxing my hair. From the time I was five, I had been a loyal user of the “creamy crack,” but after two decades, I was ready to live in my truth and love my hair for what it is—beautifully textured and full of life.

By then, I was a mother of two wonderful boys, and I knew I had to make things happen. I went back to school, this time with the clear goal of earning my hair license, and after completing my training, Beaute Naturelle La was born. Now, with over 10 years of industry experience, countless mentorships, apprenticeships, and professional courses under my belt, I’ve created a space where you can find the support, products, and services to nurture your natural beauty.

As a Master Barber with a focus on house calls and travel gigs, I cater to all walks of life, ensuring that everyone feels seen, valued, and cared for. I’ve also created my own line of products, specifically designed for textured hair—because when I couldn’t find what I needed, I decided to create it myself.

My mission is to empower you to love your natural hair, while supporting your journey to healthy hair and skin. At the same time, I aim to create generational wealth for my boys (now three mini kings!). I want to help everyone feel confident and at peace with their natural selves, and I’m here to help you do that—with love and care, every step of the way.
